King Jaymes 👑 CD + Complete Digital Collection

Pre-order now and the King Jaymes Complete Digital Collection is yours immediately while you wait for the CD to ship on release day (give or take the manufacturer’s lead time, which can be up to two weeks — this is the advantage of pre-ordering). All ten tracks in high-resolution WAV and MP3, the three Ross Kolton films, the full gatefold art (two versions), and all the visual artifacts created during the course of the project. Ships from London.

King Jaymes is the debut album from songwriter Stephen Jaymes: a folk-rock record with a pristine shine, built with mixing engineer Zsolt Virag around the soul of 1960s and 1970s music and the sonic compass of Gordon Lightfoot’s landmark album Gord’s Gold, swirling beneath a topping of pure punk energy. Ten songs that refuse to apologize for caring. About wipeout, waiting, power, love gone sideways, and the long road toward something like grace. Zsolt, playing the Lenny Waronker role (with a beaming ray of George Martin shining on his shoulder) calls it “sadhappy”: uplifting music with penetrating lyrics.

“A luminous, layered and emotionally articulate debut from an artist who has not just found his voice. He is founding a kingdom.” (Cool Happy Genius Heroes)

“A defiant and deeply human record that builds a world you want to live in, even if that world hurts.” (Modern Mystery)

“One of the finest closing tracks on a debut record in recent memory.” (Vocal Media)

Released digitally on May 16, 2025, King Jaymes arrives 18 months later on CD on November 16, 2026. Pre-orders accepted.

SHIPPING

Every copy is made to order in London and ships directly to you from there by Royal Mail International Tracked. The parcel and email updates will carry their name (elasticStage) rather than mine. Pre-orders dispatch around November 16; allow two to three weeks for delivery after that.

Because each CD is pressed and printed for the person who ordered it, orders can’t be cancelled or returned once placed; if anything arrives damaged or defective, write to hello@stephenjaymes.com and I’ll make it right.

Tax included. Shipping from London is $13 to the US, added at checkout (other countries calculated at checkout).

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes or handling fees on arrival. These aren’t included in the price and are set by your country, not by me, and I can’t change them (at present, except by voting). US tariffs may apply.
